    We were talking about some RC heavy equipment recently and I saw this. Pretty cool stuff. 290 PSI hydraulics from a 120 amp ESC running a 370 kv motor powering the pump. All this plus FPV driving.

    Nice! No reason why you couldn't do that with a full size excavator.

    That's true. They could send a FPV full size excavator into a dangerous forest fire instead of ones with people onboard. Saving lives...wasn't that one of the original reasons for flying drones?

    God forbid we lose a pilot in some non-war, but who cares if we toast firefighters right here at home every year right?
