This is the first time this guy has ever flown a collective pitch helicopter, so he started out with a NAZA-H...

    Pretty slick.  ;)
That could have saved me many many times it's price since I've been flying helis.

    Don't we know that!  ::)

That little gadget was supposed to ship yesterday but didn't.
I hope there's a full set of instructions that come with it because the down loadable "quick start guide" is just that.
Seems I struggle even when I have full instructions so I hope some smarter than I fella posts some setup videos on UT.

Bill - I think you can download the Assistant software before you get the Naza-H hardware and begin to get familiar with it.  That is the heart of the setup anyway and where you need to make all the adjustments.  There are no buttons on the Naza unit itself.

Yep, I have the quick start guide and the setup assistant. It appears you need the actual unit plugged in to the PC to be able to do or see much of any thing though. This seems to apply to downloading the driver installer also.

It's been so long since I downloaded the Naza assistant.  Sorry about that, I thought you could get a leg up by getting the software running now.
Everything is explained in the software.

They thought they would be shipping this past Tuesday but no word yet.
That seems to be the way most new releases go I think.  ::)

It's brand new so we want to think that DJI is getting it right before shipping them to the public.

Sweet!  I am looking forward to hearing, and hopefully seeing, you Naza-H equipped helicopter.  I think you will be able to give us some really good feedback and your opinion on it compared to other standard gyros and flybarless systems.

And all the pieces that were packaged.
It must look simiular to what comes with the NAZA-M other than the BEC, tail mount for the GPS and an extra extension for the GPS?

You know what Bill?  I like the way DJI did your Naza-H better than the way they did the Naza-M.  We thought the Naza-H was going to be the exact same unit with just some different firmware, but your photos are showing that it's a completely different device, and in my opinion better made.  It seems to me the Naza-H is more like the WKM than the Naza-M.  I wonder if waypoints are in the future for your Naza-H.

I worked a little on the installation last evening, every thing is fitting nicely into and on the 600.  :)
Of all the goodies in the last photo, there are going to be the two extensions and one of the short servo wires leftover. There is a small yellow paper with peel-off decals that are just a straight line, 4 of them. I have no idea what these are for.

I'd like so see RTH added sometime soon, waypoints shouldn't be much beyond that I would think.

You know, I have those tape strips too.  I think they are Chinese wire ties.

When you get your Naza-H installed are you gonna hover your 600 in the living room like w00d and Pelagic Pilot?
