The airplane and helicopter guys like to practice with their SIMs but there are also some great virtual racing SIMs for cars and trucks. Check out the viseo of VRC Pro. WAY cool 8) Now I can get my car racing fix and not actually own a car! I am after all - a plane guy!!!
The Rogue Eagles are having theirs Saturday, May 5th at their field in White City. I'll be at Lake Selmac that day for a float fly
This look kinda cool ... I wondered if there was a SIM for the cars and trucks ... Going to give a try
I did play VRC a little but to get the full benefit or to get the most FUN out of the software I would need teh proper (USB) controller The keyboard just don't do it for me. In fact w/ the keyboard the control is just too skittish for my tastes, I found the steering almost impossible to control ... Too hard to drive! And it doesn't seem to support wide screen monitors ?? I could NOT get away from the 4:3 aspect ratio, I need 16:9 Aspect Standard. I know that's just a minor annoyance but anyway there it is ... [shadow=gray,left]w00d[/shadow]
That's odd. You would think all current generation games and SIMs to support wide screen monitors. Does it say anything in the specifications about that?
I don't know, now I think on it more it really looks like the positioning is broken, looks like part of the window is rendering off screen. But when I drive I'm getting all of the track ?? Later after my morning Java I'll do a screen-shot to show y'all what I mean EDIT: Screen-Shot ---> http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz158/pwoodyp/Digital/screen.jpg
That's what I was thinking, I can't even move the window which is why I'm also thinking something is broken
