    Veteran's Museum Benefit Race April 6th, 2013!
Rattlesnake Raceway is holding a benefit race for the Northern California Veteran's Museum!  Check out their site at http://www.norcalveteransmuseum.org/.  All of the proceeds will be donated to the Veteran's Museum!  Download the flyer here (NCVM Race Flyer.pdf).  Practice will be at 8am, signups at 9am, and racing will begin at 10am!

Should be quite a few of us locals heading down for this race.  The Raffle alone is worth the drive 8)

Soft or super soft cityblocks seem to be the hot ticket down there

You will be good with the cityblocks. They work very well. As far as the type of car, I think u will be ok with your kyosho. Haha. But, they are mainly a 4wd sc and 1/8 track, so just a heads up if you plan on making the drive.

mainly 4wd and 1/8th  true....    but i always have fun with my 2wd.  Especially down there for a big track, it's nice and smooth, dusty at times but super fun.  they run buggy if enough show, so thats fun too.  have fun, kick some butt.

white city track is a def no go. (hundred reasons why)
Grants Pass (poor boy raceway) is a go.  is going to be super sick indoor track (it's nearing completion)

It is really called Poor Boy Raceway? If so, that's pretty hilarious.

It is funny. And well suited, considering they built it up from almost nothing. I dont know many of the guys helping there. But they are all well rounded, having different experience and expertise. Where I come as mainly a laborer, its great to see everyone get together and create the diamond in the rough. I truly hope to see this location bloom and become one of the biggest r/c location in oregon. Put G.P. on the map and get the pros here....maybe a section in rc addiction. .
