So I changed my mind again for Lucita's quad build. Just to be on the safe side I ordered her a Game of Drones bulletproof frame. I will put the DJI F450 electronics and the Naze32 inside this frame. I chose the clear version so I can put lights inside it where they will also be protected from any crashes.

Here is the frame being tested.

    With some lights:

So @Helmar inspired me to post some photos of our Game of Drones clear frame build. We added some DJI F450 motors and ESCs (30 A) because that's what we had lying around. In one of the photos you can see the CleanFlight flight controller board in a 3D printed case in the center of the frame.

Here are a couple of the top.

Here is the bottom. What is not shown are the 4 RGB light boards that will go in each of the arms. We also have a bright LED that will go in the center pointing straight down.

Here is a close up of the 3D printed CleanFlight controller case. You can see that it has blue rubber dampeners in the four corners to eliminate vibration transfer from the chassis and motors to the flight controller.

What is nice about this 3D printed flight controller case is that you can access all of the connectors without the need to disassemble the case in any way.

By the way: They make a new frame called the Hiro that is made for FPV and looks to be as tough, or tougher, than the one we have. Check it out here:

You can purchase the Hiro at GetFPV for $49 (at the time of this writing) here:
