Wow John, the camera is really stable. Are you using a gimbal?

Hi Mike, Yes. This one is a Tarot gimbal. Very nice and a great price too.

I don't know that gimbal in your link so I can't make an opinion on it. Before purchasing a gimbal you might see if you know anyone who has used the model you are considering before buying since there are so many and some require some tweaking mechanically (dampeners, camera balancing and so on) and also the electronics tuning. Some folks end up never getting their tuning and PIDs right so end up with a bad experience.
I can say from my own personal experience that the Tarot gimbal works really well.

If you are starting from scratch there are a lot of quads on the market now that would work really well for you and some are ready to go even with a camera and gimbal integrated so you don't have to mess around with your frame balancing and gimbal mounting. Believe me when I say this is no small thing.

If I was starting over today I would look really hard at the Team Blacksheep Discovery Pro. It has a gimbal and most importantly a great gimbal controller in the kit. This frame will work really well with a DJI Naza flight controller but can also accept other flight controllers.

Or you might look at the 3D Robotics Iris+. This quad comes ready to go and uses the 3D Robotics Pixhawk controller.

Speaking of flight controllers: It might be a good idea to consider what flight controller you want to use before choosing a frame or kit because some flight controllers determine what mobile operating systems you will be able to use in the field. This way you will be able to get a system that works the way you want to work or with the mobile phone or tablet you already have.
