I didn't know if I liked that or not, but found I couldn't stop watching it.

That was interesting for sure. I wonder how they made that selective freeze frame effect.

It looked to me that those might have been from Google Earth.

Could be. When he "flys" over the freeway the cars are moving then seem to freeze when that sector becomes a still photo.

That was the part I saw that made me think that.

Whatever the person did, it sure looks like a bunch of video editing.

Ya know, with allot I post I have a general understanding on how 'they' do (did) things
... but this time nadda, not a clue, I couldn't even have guessed
... but yeah, the last part of your statement is right-on, it would certainly be TON of editing
