does anybody drive road cars?i have a couple 4tec 3.3's but nobody to drive with cuz all my friends have off road vehicles.why not a parking lot every now and then?! :-\
I have a road car that I'd run. I would just need to hook up the new motor and esc I got. I was going to make it a drift car, but I think with just a tire change I can run on the parking lot. Probably not as fast as your nitro cars though so it may be boring for you.
do you think they would allow nitro touring cars on carpet?i bet ventilation would be the main issue.
Sorry for the slow reply. My work has been eating all my time. I have not yet finished my drift car. I need to solder the ESC and motor and get the new tires mounted to the cool wheels I got. I'll see if I can get it done this weekend for running next week.
I have a nitro tc3 (stock) -I can go destroy some tires sometime...it's been a few years since it has been out,it may need a new reciever pack and glow plug-I'm sure Betty and Gene have that in stock.
GPS-I haven't raced,Sundays do not work for me : .I have been "bashing" off and on since 1992ish.(between riding dirtbikes, mnt. bikes, fishing hunting, being dad),ect.,ect.I started dragging the R.C. stuff out again,a couple of weeks ago, after a 9yr. old family friend saw my LST sitting.So...I decided to add a traxxas slash 4x4 (brushless) and a traxxas rally 1/18,to my mess=have'n too much w/ the electric stuff..."CAN YOU DIG IT!!" ---anyone up for bashing?? 8)
You might like to check out the meetups every first and third Wednesday at the School in Murphy. This Wednesday is the first of the season. You can see more here: http://southernoregonrc.com/index.php?topic=57.0 There is usually a decent size group of car folks there. It is indoors so electric only. Your new Traxxas Rally would fit in perfectly.
I work swing shift -so...Monday,Tuesday,and some Saturdays are open ;D-it is still downhill mountain bike season (until it snows on Ashland)-so-I have been doing that too.
hey pile of toys, nice to see someone else has road cars.i have a couple 4tec's i've been itchin to drive.we should meet sometime.
Hey guys, new to the forum. I'm in G.P. and run my 4-tec 3.3 as well. I usually run on Thursday's and Saturday's as they are my days off. I also have a brushless TC4 that I bring out sometimes. I've been running at the middle school on Harbeck on saturday afternoons. It's pretty smooth.
I used to run often at the Harbeck school in the parking lot. There is a island and a small grass embankment that is great to sit on and run ovals around the large island. There is plenty of space for drifting also. I need to repair my own TC4 and would meet you there sometime if you want. I also have a eRevo 1/16 that is a lot of fun to run there.
