Took some photos up in the mountains near Roseburg. Video to follow.
Pretty powerful image. Nice work.
Looks like you might have a little articfacts there on the photomerge around the truck a spot or two to the right. I bet the Flyover was pretty interesting.
Yes, it is pretty wonky around the truck. I took that with my Android phone and some built-in camera gizmo. I think it is maybe the second time I've used that capability and didn't know what I was doing. This is one that came out half way decent. I wish I had a decent one looking the other direction because the view was seriously impressive, not that this view is not. This was the most remote location I've ever been to in Oregon. Interesting place to hold a presentation. A great day indeed.
Yeah, usually those android automatic panoramas do pretty good where you don't have things like power lines in your view.
That is indeed an interesting location for a presentation. I take it it was regarding logging? Did you get to fly the area?
I can't complain, I held the phone by hand without any support or tripod so in that sense I am quite satisfied with the results.
The presentation was about the fires in that area last summer and how they affected the forestry service, BLM and the logging. Here are a couple more photos, I haven't been able to get to the video yet but should have that to show today or tomorrow.
Some more photos.
Nice work. The aerial view definitely adds some perspective.
Here is the video.
Not too bad considering how windy it was.
