I just got it.  It's a paint job by Frank.  I want to paint as good as this guy.  There are also light buckets in case I want to mount headlights.

It would be a non-issue if the taillights also had buckets, but they are painted over and also have some pretty nice looking stickers on them already.

I think you're right.  But you know what?  No matter what I mount this body on it'll look good...even a German tank.  ;)

I have been doing a mental build on my TC3, almost every time I drive the work truck. Brad might buy my Ofna GTP, after I put it back together, if so I will be getting a newer 1/8 scale too-that would put 4- 5 of them running Harbeck.

What are you thinking about with your TC3 build?
It would be great to have a few other 1/8 scale on-road cars at Harbeck, even two or three would be sweet.

I am looking to convert my TC4 back to a on-road car, unless I find another 1/10 scale on-road.  I had a bid on a XRay T3 on eBay but got outbid.

My TC3 needs traction:tire foams, more down force on the body, short shift the 2 speed and make second gear taller,I am putting the restrictor back in the carb.,probably an exaust tip for the pipe to keep the oil off the back wheel(s), I raised the ride height (chassis was dragging), and softend the suspension, I added caster/camber for stability- may need thicker shock oil too.My car is all stock, and am sure they run a solid 50mph that way.I want to get it hooked up ;D

BTW-I think I can build a GTP2e w/ a Momba Max/ESC combo, traxxas servo and 2.4 reciever , plus reciever box, for  $575. oo , and bind my traxxas 2.4 radio to it...If there were enough cars, to justify the cost of a set  (or two) of tires each time I took it out, that may happen...add another $47. oo, and I could build an OFNA dm1...I know Mikes KYOSHO will be F.A.S.T.= (center diff). He will be ringing it out, while we are trying to keep it straight...I am going ahead and changing the diff. fluid and shock oil on the gas GTP,while it is down.I will need to do a tire change on the bruiser too= $ 40.oo

The Mamba Max is a good ESC and it has something the Mamba Monster ESC does not have: It's sensor capable in case you want to run it with a sensored motor.

There seems to me two OFNA DM1's:

    OFNA DM-One (1/7 scale)
    http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_44_1156/products_id/27020/n/OFNA-DM-One-1-7th-Scale-Pro-Nitro-Sedan-MC-Type

    OFNA DM-1 (1/8 scale)
    http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_44_1156/products_id/29701/n/OFNA-DM-1-Spec-RTR-M-Type-1-8th-Nitro-On-Road-Sedan-w--Force-28-Motor

I like the DM-One 1/7 scale because of the cool suspension, the other one, OFNA DM-1, is a hybrid as the front suspension is laid down and the rear is a conventional upright configuration.

interesting,I didn't notice the 1/7 scale was different,I was looking at the 1/8 DM1e, because it is set up for Brushless. If there isn't any handling benifits to the Dm1 over the GTPe- I may not bother.Meanwhile, I have the GTP gas, to run.

One thing I like better about the GTP-2e over the DM-1 is that the GTP-2e has a closed chassis plate.  That should help keep some of the gunk out of the car.  Even on a relatively clean surface like Harbeck I pick up a lot of grime, mostly on the shock bodies and suspension arms.
