I figured I would start posting a build ive been putting off for some time now(i started it 2 years ago, sold it and got it back).I started with 2 tamiya f350 cabs and turned them into one crew cab ford, I have already lengthened the cab and completed the bodywork, dropped the bed floor and opened the tailgate. I have also built custom steel front and rear bumpers as well as stretched an axial scx10 chassis and converted it to rear leaf spring/front 3 link, I will be scratch building a full styrene interior and dash with a full floor and finishing up the paint and detailing. I intend to build a murdered out tow rig, it will have 1.9 swampers with cac blacked out 2.0 derlin wheels, I will also be scratch building a RBP grille and many other custom details.......we'll see how this goes, my wife is helping post pic so please bear with me

these are the CAC 2.0 derlin wheels ill be puttin on this thing, the chassis has since been re-worked due to poor planning on my part the front suspension had great travel but not enough room for the front driveline ,and the rc4wd trex axles being total crap(broken 3 knuckles just test fitting stuff!),so... ive grafted the front framerails and skidplate/motormout to the rear of my chassis, keeping the rear leaf springs and re-mounted the bumpers, in turn, I was able to lower the body on the frame and correct a small wheelbase issue it had.

    Thanks for looking

Looks like a sweet project for sure with some nice body work. That bumper is nice it looks like a Road armor one kinda. I look foward to seing more of this build as it goes. Also on the pics with photobucket if you copy and paste the img code (bottom one out of the 4) the pictures will appear directly on the forum

Nice poster. The wheels aren't bad either! Was that in bad taste? LOL  Nice rig. I can't even imagine building something like that at my skill level.

A tow rig is useless without somethin to tow.......so I'm building a gooseneck trailer, the main frame is done and tomorrow I will install the axles and then build the hitch into the bed of the f350 crewcab,

The trailer is only 1 lb so far, should be around 2lbs finished so add a 6lb crawler and The axles should be fine, it has,an axial front diff and trex60 rear, I will be swaping in the trex 60 front once I get some aluminum knuckes and cvds I hate how the rc4wd stuff looks awesome yet cant even hold up a rig thats sitting on a shelf......retarded
