I am planning on running some on-road next weekend, Saturday, October 22nd 2011 at the Middle School on Harbeck.  We have run here many times and feel it is one of the best places in Grants Pass for several reasons:

    - Asphalt is in good condition.
    - Large island which is well placed for big oval racing.
    - Large area next to island which is great for drifting.
    - Grassy Knoll.  No shooters, but a great place to sit in a lawn chair with elevated view of parking lot for drivers and spectators.

I plan to add three cones to make the on-road course a little more interesting than a oval.

See my attached annotated Google map image and Google map link for directions below.

Would love to bring my new E-Revo, but we'll be at the coast that weekend :(

Do you have time tomorrow after the flying?  I don't have the 1/8 scale OFNA yet (expected Tuesday) but my 1/16 eRevo is good to go for a few runs if it stays dry.  I don't want to run my little eRevo in the wet anymore because I've added some bling parts to replace ones I broke.

I'm out at the Skypark in Kerby tomorrow for our last club Fun Fly of the year. Will be done by 2:00pm or there abouts. Free after that. Wanna get together either at Harbeck, or somewhere in Cave Junction (aren't you out that way?) Let me know.

Hey guys, sorry but I won't be able to make it. I roasted the transmission in my daily driver and need to get that fixed so I can get to work tomorow.

Were you driving your 1:1 car like it was a eRevo?

No worries, I hope it's nothing too serious with your car.

    Hey Pelagic Pilot,

Thanks for coming out today and showing me your helicopter.  That was a great flight you did.
We hung out and raced a few more batteries before heading home.  It was a good day!

Sounds good.  This Saturday (10-29-2011) at noon at the middle school on Harbeck (see the map above).  I'll bring my 1/8 scale on-road car and anything else I can.

EDIT:  I also have some Losi "Track Dots" if we want to mark off a course.

It was good to meet you guys today Pile of Toys and Golden Child, thanks for coming out.  Bummer about my tire on the OFNA 1/8 scale.  It looks like it's going to be a little tricky to get it fixed as the inside of the tire is holding pretty tight.

Isn't there a CA solvent available for "un-gluing" CA glue?  I thought I saw something like that once but I cannot remember where.  Do you think it would harm the tire rubber?

GPS-I believe you are correct, there is or used to be something to release CA glue-I don't remember what it it.It may be as simple as paint thinner. You may want to call some one like Tower Hobbies and ask those Q's-I think the tire foam will be the issue-most things will melt that, I believe.( May make the wheel brittle too )-I have some tire insert material, from old 1/8 scalers if you need it.
Thanks for the company and invite today-I am impressed with the group here. You and Golden Child are very interesting, and easy to be around.=I had a good day  8)
