Finally someone's ganna make a true scaler that we dont have to throw a ton of money at to make it look like a scaler!!
That's what I was thinking the body's pretty sweet I'd like to see the specs on it but I guess it will have to wait till they release
I still haven't seen it posted but am assuming lexan. Metal would be awesome but expensive to produce and very heavy. I dont see any lines defining individual body panels so if metal it would be stamped sheet and there are to many draws and pockets for that i think to be pulled from one piece. I think lexan and not ABS because in one pic you can see through the inside of the back fender Anyone else notice anything odd about the tranny? Its got a LS looking intake on it so its obviously modeled to be a motor looking unit but then its mounted in the center of the truck???? Why not make it look like a transmission instead?
Good eye. After looking at what you pointed out I agree that it looks like Lexan. Regarding the transmission, you must mean the photos with the body off. The interior shot looks like they did make a transmission hump just ahead of the gear shift lever.
The thing that is molded like a motor is the actual motor housing that connects to the tranny not the whole tranny
Oh, OK. I thought he was talking about the bump in the body shell inside the cabin by the firewall where the transmission hump is.
I have looked at and read everything i can find on the "net" about this critter and I have supplied a link to the "spec's" http://www.gmade.net/vehicle/sawback/overview.html The Sawback is due to be released "mid" Nov at s cost of $269.99 +shipping ,, But for those of you that are interested Betty @ RC Addiction in CP can pre-order them for $270.00 cash up front, if you choose to order one from her tell her Dan sent you..
I know a guy on facebook who said he went to RC Addiction( Hobby shop in Central Point) and hes getting one and the lady said he should have it be Thanksgiving. So I think its going to release very soon.
I really like the look myself kinda wanting to see one in action Ty for adding that link it was great overview on the truck definitely answered my questions
