Here's a little video of some patched together clips my son took on a recent outing.
A beautiful day and sweet flying plane.

That was totally cool.  You make it look so easy!  Thanks for sharing that.

Very nice Bill. Your Cub sure turned out great! Flaps, scale engine mouldings, and floats! Hard to beat that. We just had our annual float fly event down here. Been working on uploading a couple of short videos, but having technical difficulties. Great video from your son, thanks for sharing :)

Yeah nothing better than being on the water with your favorite activities ...
... and (lookin at the mountains in the background) it is certainly great looking country.

Thanks for the comments fellas.  ;)

That video was shot in Quicktime. I spent a lot of time trying to get my Sony film editor to play nice with it and in the end I uploaded three of the clips and edited the whole thing in Youtube. I had not done that before and it worked pretty slick. They also have a bunch more free music than the last time I tried adding an audio track.

Very nice Bill!  Your plane looks terrific and the video was really well made.  Thanks for sharing.

It looks like you waded out into the water.

My plane addiction is just beginning. All I have is some micros. I have a Champ, a Polecat, and a Beast. Your video was really cool, makes me want to try something with floats. Then again, you make it look easier than it probably is.
    Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for the comments Derek, sorry it took a while to reply.
That plane is quite easy to fly and flying off floats is only a little different. Sitting up the plane with floats correctly is important. It's pretty easy after the first few take offs and landings. ;)
