We met with two ladies from the fairgrounds this evening and we have some great news to report: We are a go with the usage of one of their arena's for RC car racing. We still have detail to iron out but per our initial meeting it looks like our costs will be $175 per day of usage which would be from 7AM to 10PM. Water, lights and power are included. We will be posting more shortly but will need to start getting commitments from people for the amount of use they would be wanting so we can narrow down the frequency of usage to commit to the fairgrounds. What a GREAT day!!! Yes, the fairgrounds people were THRILLED that we were interested in using their facility!! As GPS stated, still some details to iron-out, but it definitely looks like a go! We are awaiting a call for a final meeting with the faigrounds manager and will let you all know when the place will (keep your fingers crossed) be OURS!!!! We have a tentative agreement to keep the track in-place from September to June, and an invite to do some racing during the Josephine County Fair A BIG thanks to Adam @ Sleadd's for getting the bug planted and helping with all the details 8)
