That is a great track. Good find. It figures that the Germans would come up with a killer track. I really liked that Korean track the best until this one because of the layout and elevation changes. But I would rather run on this one because it's indoors and carpet. The drift car guys are a like the scale crawler guys in their attention to detail of the models. The crawler guys expect their cars to get dirty banged up but to me it's a shame to ruin these nicely done drift cars and running them indoors on carpet seems like the right kind of setup to get a good run and keep the cars clean.

I love the koren one too. Indoors would be cool. But I dont care, any track is better than none. this is the koren track and isn't that elevated but in one corner. Id like to do somthing similar at PBR but add an overpass. Gonna start working on it soon just need the time and maybe some income tax money. 297094_206512212741870_100001492791743_558140_2820348_n-1.jpeg

I think that photo is a little deceiving. I believe the near end is also elevated somewhat. All in all the German track has more elevation and I also agree on having a overpass. That is just plain cool. I also like the purple-ish lighting they have on the German track. It makes it seem like a night scene.

No the one in the picture is asphalt I think. Or at least drive way sealant. Yeah I drifted on carpet a little bit when sleadds had that section in the back open.. I like carpet alot mainly to save tire ware. I dont know how many wheels I went through last summer!!

That is still my favorite drift track so far that I have seen. Those Korean guys sure did an amazing job building it.

What do you think the surface is? It looks like asphalt but very fine. I also like the way it reflects the headlights in some of the darker scenes.

    Just cool! Thanks for posting!

$$$$ all we need is $$$$. If I were in contruction still I could get by with scarp. Thinking just pouring a slab of concrete then some sealer over. I have a whole game plan set. I bet I could get it done real nice for under 500. But no one wants to pitch in the dough. If we had some help finding 2x4 and rebar. It would cut the cost in half. If we were to at least set that up. Everything else would be a breeze. Meet me there sunday and ill show you the spot good shade for long summer days....

I was thinking a 20' by 20' slab would be perfect. Adam was talking about adding more concrete inside the building. And we could set it up right there in the middle. We could set up drift nights when theres no racing.

    P.s.

the only bad thing with that i see is we couldnt have any permanent fixtures like a big garage out because of it being on the main floor! Also we would have to clean it everytime we would want to drift!!!

Yeah I hear you. Might just do better at someones house and not at pbr all together. I dont see it being taken care of there. And your right it would get super dusty indoors at pbr. I took my drift car once just to show it off last summer. And im still finding dust( in the body) I have an interior with windows down so some spots are hard to clean without taking it apart risk losing the paint...we will have to see. My future is kinda on a teter totter. Might have to move but not sure yet. So im not gonna start anything till I know whats up with my job..
