Are you saying "Looks like a Cuttlefish p.ssed all over it" LMAO, Don't know if I should be offended or NOT Actually now I think on it my Yellow curtains, as the first was shot using ambient light cast a 'yellowish' colour to the overall shot. The last shot was shot using my LED Floods which are closer to daylight white balance, QED: NO yellow colour cast
Being the photo guru you are, thought you might know the history of Sepia Tones. "Beginning in the 1880s, sepia was produced by adding a pigment, called sepia, made from the Sepia officinalis cuttlefish found in the English channel, to the positive print of a photograph." Sepia toned Huey: Sepia Toning Photos Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sepia_tone Cuttlefish Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuttlefish Sepia Colors Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sepia_(color)
Nope, didn't know ... Yeah I know "obviously" ... Thought maybe you were talking about my first shot. Oh well, humility is a two edged sward
No just the Sepia tone, I just learned about those last year and was amazed that they used a fish to make those "old time" photos, this whole time I thought they turned yellow over time on their own.
"Being the photo guru you are" LOL, NO NO just a FOOL that bought an expensive camera then didn't know what to do with it ... Thought I'd better learn before the 'buyers remorse' set in I use to think they turned yellow from age at one time. New info for me was how they actually made stuff back then or what they made the stuff from, with 'cuttlefish'... I have tried Sepia in the darkroom when I was into chemical precessing but even now that was ages-ago [hr]
