This is a pretty clear overview of the latest smartphones.  It shows that the new Nexus 4 trumps the iPhone 5 in just about every spec.

Even Google's new Nexua 10 tablet out retinas Apples iPad 4's retina display:

The media is also going crazy about Google's latest Chromebook.  Engadget compares it to a Apple Macbook Air for one quarter the price.

Too bad after the first drop/spill/fall etc. it won't work.  I am a PC guy to the fullest, but I have to say that the reason I now have Iphone's is the ease of use and the fact that they just don't break like every other smartphone out.

They all break.  Android is a better OS.  I've had both/all of them.

I have to disagree to some extent, the opp system in my opinion is better in most ways to IOS, but as per the phones breaking I have to disagree, the Iphone in my experience is 10x more robust than any other smartphone out at the moment.  I myself have had them all and my reason for an Iphone is purely out of necessity because if I did not do the work I do I would have an android powered device in a heartbeat.

Here is a nice video.  There is a 9000 mAh battery in the super slim Nexus 10 tablet!  I want some for my multirotor.

You know high miliamp batteries are not hard to find the problem is the discharge or C rating.  large capacity batteries usually have a very low discharge rate that will not work for anything other than low draw application like a tablet.

You know what I've noticed with high discharge rate batteries?  Just as they are good at providing a lot of punch, they also drop off at the end of the charge just as fast.  This is probably OK with surface models, and even some airplanes that have a certain amount of glide ratio.  In helicopters and multirotors I feel they are not always appropriate.  I have both high and low discharge rate batteries and in my opinion the "softer" low discharge rate is nice because you feel the battery running down instead of it just cutting out sharply.  If you are a hundred yards out and your RC car or truck battery drops out, who cares?  You do the walk of shame and get on with driving.  If your battery drops of in a helicopter or multirotor in the same situation you are looking at the walk of shame plus a lot of repairs, or worse.

I admit that a lot of flyers just set their timers and probably never even get close to running the battery down completely so this is moot, but I like to get as much mileage as I can and the extra few minutes can be really handy.
Keep in mind helicopter and multirotor pilots who like acrobatics probably also like the fast discharge and extra punch, but mostly I like to fly AP so loops and flips are not needed or even desirable.

Wow, the Nexus 4 has Gorilla glass front AND rear.  Here is a early initial impression:
