The Rogue Valley Flyers is kicking off it's new season of flight instruction with its two new trainer aircraft - The Maxford Mentor! Four qualified instructors are available to meet your scheduling needs any day/time that works best for you! Instruction starts with a 1-1/2 hour ground school followed by as many flights as needed to get you to your first solo. The course must be completed within 60-days to stay within the AMA's insurance requirements for new students. If the student is unable to complete the course within the 60-day time frame, he/she will have to join the AMA in order to reamin covered under its insurance. If the student does complete the course in time, it is not required to join the AMA or the RVF club - although we always welcome new members ;). In any case, after 60 days the student must provide their own aircraft to fly and/or continue training if necessary.

Cost is $30. $10 goes toward fuel and maintenance on the aircraft, and the other twenty is a deposit on the course handbook which is refundable if you choose not to keep the book at the end of the training (providing of course that the book is still in its original condition).

Feel free to post any questions here, or contact me if you're interested in the program.
