DJI in the news again! Through no fault of their own, they are becoming the symbol of dumb drone pilots. Can't imagine what this guy thought he was doing flying there at 3AM.

Not sure I like where this is going. Do you want your flight controller manufacturer dictating where you can and cannot fly?

I don't see how they can cram that down the throat of guys like DJI when the vast majority of "evil drones" don't even have a GPS. I suppose the next step is to "require" such hardware. That would sure screw up the hobby. There isn't anything our stupid government doesn't want to control now.

The DJI Inspire 1 has a "feature" that prevents it from flying if you have not updated or checked for firmware updates. The Flite Test guys spoke about it in one of their videos.
