    I don't see how they can cram that down the throat of guys like DJI when the vast majority of "evil drones" don't even have a GPS. I suppose the next step is to "require" such hardware. That would sure screw up the hobby. There isn't anything our stupid government doesn't want to control now.

    The DJI Inspire 1 has a "feature" that prevents it from flying if you have not updated or checked for firmware updates. The Flite Test guys spoke about it in one of their videos.
